DOCUMENTS LIST FOR EXIM CODE
Any person wanting to import and export goods and services whose paid up capital is minimum of 10 Lakh and has been regularly providing all the tax details, are required to submit following documents for obtaining EXIM CODE:

3. | Notarized Industry Registration Certificate/Business Registration Certificate | 1 |
4. | Notarized License/approval letter to trade the goods on which excise duty is levied. | 1 |
5 | Original copy of bank guarantee certificate having three lakh amount for at least of one year period issued by ‘A’ graded commercial bank approved by Nepal Rastra Bank . | 1 |
6. | Notarized Tax Clearance Certificate of previous fiscal year and PAN Registration Certificate | 1-1each |
7. | Original copy of bank recommendation letter of having bank account according to schedule – 2 | 1 |
8. | Notarized copy of approval letter for the commencement of any other business. | 1 |
9. | Proper MAP of business location. | 1 |
Note:
No bank guarantee is required for the purpose of exportations.
No need of obtaining EXIM CODE in case of Importation of goods worth Rs. 50,000 and in exportation of goods worth Rs. 1 lakh.
But, one who has already obtained EXIM CODE, must use the code in import and export of any amount.

Personal exim code pauna k k garnu parla
Hi there I want to import goods for personal use from india worth Rs 25 thousand or less should i need to have my exim code?? And how will my payment i.e prepayment be secured or how can I get guarantee that my goods will come to me once I deposited in supppers account? Please reply
